The Fountain of Darkness Cantile – “The night is the darkest before the dawn” is an original song to summarizes the entire of the “Antebellum.” My feeling, my impression looks for inspiration to the song “Amazing Grace,” penned by a former slave trader and abolitionist, John Henry Newton, Jr. and to find Peace in Darkness.
Expressing the need to fight for freedom; nobody should ever have to be a slave. Amid the darkness, there can be hope, light amidst the despair because someone once spoke out for freedom rights, a new renaissance resulted.
Over and over again rising tides of white supremacy lead to violence, destruction and less democracy.
Over time their challenges paid dividends and seeds to civil rights movements, and Amazing Grace.
